after our departure from Carnell at Kilmarnock i was offered a piece of ground at coalhall on the A70 towards Cumnock Mr Quentin Mc Ghee from strathayr nursery offered me a polly tunnel at a very reasonable price we dismantled it and have it at coalhall. The garden has surprised us all at the flourishing beauty of the cultivars saved from Carnell we hope to expand our named varieties to a wider spectrum
and extend the site to encourage more members to take part in the societies activities at Ayr flower show and to enter into the compettitive spirit ,
so to other items that have been done since the first open day at carnell we hope you enjoy the pictures and the story that goes with it jim mc master
